About
I am a Dunfermline based textile artist working primarily in tapestry.
I graduated from Heriot Watt with a degree in textile design specialising in woven textile design in 2014. The need for a weaving loom and a lack of studio space led to me weaving on a miniature scale creating tiny tapestries. These small tapestries document my travels, encapsulating the intimacy and connection felt towards the landscape. Today this makes up a large portion of my work.
Now I create in my studio in Dunfermline as well as weaving en plein air. I also teach mini weaving, nature weaving, and tapestry classes to both children and adults.
